The Barnwell Lecture: Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Entry Into Service

This is the last of the 2013/2014 lecture series and is the keynote lecture for the RAeS Bristol Branch.
The Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter is one of the largest multi-national military projects ever defined. Bringing this aircraft and its variants into service with different military services and in many countries is a significant challenge that will be described by Commodore Rick Thompson, the IPT Lead based at MOD Abbey Wood.
He will also provide an overview of the 5th Generation capabilities offered by the Lightning II and its UK Introduction into Service.
The lecture will be followed by a dinner for invited guests. If you are not a dinner guest then you are still welcome at the lecture.
